Dr. Madalyn Melson

Veterinarian

Dr Madalyn Melson attended Boston College with a bachelor of Arts Majoring in Biology. She graduated from Tufts University Receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2014. Her interests are:
Paleontology: participated in multiple excavation expeditions in California, Utah, and Montana to collect and prepare fossils for the Raymond M Alf Museum of Paleontology at the Webb Schools in Claremont, CA. She is a member of the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center & Squam Lakes Association; and a frequent explorer of the lakes and mountains of central NH. She is married and has 3 children, a golden retriever and an Australian shepherd. She also has a passion for cooking Italian and Mexican cuisine for friends and family.

Dr. Janna Guerrette

Veterinarian

Dr Guerrette grew up in southern NH and attended UMASS Amherst for a bachelor’s in Animal Science. She then ventured to Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr G made her way back to NH after graduation and has practiced mixed and small animal medicine since returning. Her focus has switched to exclusively cats and dogs over the years. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and the pack of cats and dogs they call family. They enjoy hiking and kayaking when the weather allows. Dr G enjoys yoga all through the year.

Dr. Michelle Bibeau
Veterinarian

Dr. Michelle Bibeau is a dedicated veterinarian based in New Hampshire, where she has been providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families here at Northern Lakes for over 5 years. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Bibeau has a special interest in preventative medicine, client education, and the human-animal bond.

Whether helping a new puppy get off to a healthy start or managing the needs of a senior cat, Dr. Bibeau is committed to treating each patient with personalized attention and respect. Outside of the clinic, you will often find her enjoying the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire and spending time with family, or spoiling Kona, her own furry companion.

Dr. Judy Surdam

Veterinarian

Dr. Judy, born and raised in Nashua, NH, attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania-School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. She performed an externship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. After earning a VMD (Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris), she returned to her home state of New Hampshire to practice small animal medicine
and continues to practice in NH. Interests include patient advocacy, internal medicine/endocrine diseases, ophthalmology, small mammal medicine (rabbits, rodents, guinea pigs) and ultrasound. Dr. Surdam lives in Franklin, NH and enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, a daughter and multiple pets. Hobbies include outdoor activities, mountain biking and cycling , hiking, travelling and contributing to the community in various ways.

Sabrina

Practice Manager

Sabrina has been with NLVH since June 2018. Since joining the NLVH family, she has taken on different roles and responsibilities. She enjoys interacting with the clients and their furry family members. She takes pride in her role and always tries to make herself available to anyone who needs her. Outside of work, she enjoys spending play time with her 3 dogs “Leena”, “Gozer” and “Elliot” as well as a senior pooch that she is fostering, a cat “Reagan” and a Parrot “Buddy”.. And date nights with her husband.

Chelsey

Lead CSR

Chelsey started at NLVH in October of 2019 as a veterinary technician. Since then, she has taken on a new role as our Lead customer service representative. You can find Chelsey at the front desk, offering a warm, welcoming smile. Chelsey is a new mom to a 6-month-old, enjoys family time with Chef husband, Kyle, and her long-haired GSD “Leyna”.

Medical Assistant

Izzy joined NLVH in September 2021 as a veterinary technician assistant and quickly advanced to lead vet tech. She continues to be a valued part of our team, with her role recently evolving to support her new journey as a medical assistant in the human healthcare field. Outside of work, Izzy enjoys going to concerts and spending time with her yellow lab, Rainy.

Technician

Mary joined our team in January of 2022, shortly after moving from Florida to NH. Outside of work, she is currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician school and takes classes to become a certified technician. She aspires to work with large animals in the future. Mary enjoys exploring New England with her corgi, Maple.

Charlotte joined the NLVH team in the summer of 2024, she is attending her last semester in school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Charlotte is a native to the lakes region of NH. In her spare time enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with her precious pups “Nova” and “Piper”
