We love NLVH! The vets, techs, and staff at NLVH care for your pets like they would for their own pet. From yearly appointments to end of life care, they are knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate.

I love bringing my Bernese Mountain Dog to Northern Lakes Vet.   They help make a stressful necessity of being a pet owner go smoothly and calmly.

After 4 yrs of ear infections Doc Jana Guerrette solved her problem in one visit amazing Doc for sure. I would recommend her to all my friends.

Taken Pemi here twice now, first for neutering, all went well... second time due to a vomiting/diarrhea scare.  It's the second visit review refers to.  Appreciate all the diagnostics and tests that were done, my issue is with the food directed to serve.  Unsure why I was "required" to purchase a full case of wet and 4 lbs of dry to feed my cat for a day or two to get him over his gastrointestinal issue.  That's $90+ of unnecessary food.  Two cans of wet and a small zip-lock back of dry would have sufficed.   Fine balance between pet care and making money I guess....

My dog who is more than obviously sick not to the appearing eye but I brought my dog into at very least get a basic physical checkup/ exam to check him out we're they were offering first visit free for new clients... What they did I coulda did myself they asked about his eating and if he got table scraps... And then asked me about flea and tick meds and heartworm meds we were basically put in one of there exam rooms and told there was nothing they'd b able to do so I wasted my time and a 60$ Uber ride up to Ashland for nothing I think with or without a rabies receipt they should still be able to check the animal out wen I got home later on that night I did some research of my own and alota if the symptoms I been noticing my dog put off r alot if the same as heartworm so ur guna tell me just cuz I didn't have a rabies certificate on me at the time ur not guna do wats the better if all good n at least check out the dog??? That's a lil bit ridiculous we now have another appointment at a place in Concord for Thursday and I was told yes he will be looked at regardless... So I don't think we'll be going back to Ashland anytime soon IV heard good and IV heard bad about them so figured I'd give them a shot and completely disappointed me 🫤

Dr. Judy Surdam, a Nashua native, earned her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania and practices small animal medicine in New Hampshire. Her interests include internal medicine, ophthalmology, small mammals, and ultrasound. She lives in Franklin with her family and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and community involvement.

Dr. Michelle Bibeau, a Ross University graduate, has cared for pets at Northern Lakes for over 5 years. She focuses on preventative medicine, client education, and the human-animal bond. Outside work, she enjoys New Hampshire's outdoors with her dog, Kona.

Dr. Guerrette earned her DVM from Texas A&M after studying Animal Science at UMASS Amherst. She now focuses on small animal medicine and enjoys yoga, hiking, kayaking, and time with her husband and their pets.

Dr. Madalyn Melson earned her DVM from Tufts in 2014. She enjoys paleontology, exploring New Hampshire, cooking, and spending time with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
